FAL 9mm Sten mag conversion

The FAL 9mm conversion using Sten mags is now available.

This is a kit that will turn the FAL receiver into a 9mm carbine using the readily abundant Sten mags. This kit is designed to be very easy to assemble, just like the Mauser conversions.  

You will also need a FAL Para top cover, you can use the stamped type from DSA or the scope mount types from ARMS or DSA. The scope mount types do a much better job of keeping powder from blowing into your face.

The Sten mags do need to have a notch cut into the back of them. A mill makes it easy but a Dremmel with a disk cutter will also work. We are making a easy to use jig for adding the notch to the back of the mags.

Cost for a kit: the Kit includes a barrel, aluminum gas block assembly, Para bolt, Sten mag adapter, DSA Para recoil springs and buffer, $285. 

Kit 1 with a barrel set up for regular length L1a1 or Metric hand guards, also set up for the metric bipod, swivel and flash  hider for post Sept laws $285. Note the hand guard spacer ring is included but not shown.	Kit 2 with a barrel set up for the DSA shorty hand gaurds. Note this barrel does not include the easy to install front gas block system.
