PSL SVD style handguards in Paduak wood. This was a limited run of just 8 units we made with some excess wood. We do not have any plans to make rear stocks but these do match up to the black stocks that are out there.
Paduak wood is a very dense wood that does not respond to oil base finishes very well. We recommend sanding it all the way to 600-wet, then using a very light amount of tung oil on a cloth to buff the wood out. The oil will dry instantly and you can build it a bit but it is difficult. This is one of the most attractive woods for the PSL /Vepr builds to use but also very difficult to get in the correct size. Scrap wood included for testing finishes.
